Hiring for Business Development Manager - General Trading Sector
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the general trading sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities by conducting market research and analysis, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, and achieve growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Manage and oversee the sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.
- Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and activities that support business growth.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring that contracts are signed and all parties are satisfied with the terms and conditions.
- Monitor and analyze sales and business performance, and provide regular reports and feedback to management.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network with potential clients and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the general trading sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
