Hiring for Assistant Sales Manager - Consultancy Sector
Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. You will work closely with the sales team, clients, and other internal departments to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires strong sales and communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Sales Support:
- Assist the Sales Manager in creating and implementing sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and market research.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to effectively communicate the value proposition of the consultancy services.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of consultancy services to clients.
- Sales Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the Sales Manager, highlighting key performance metrics and recommending strategies for improvement.
- Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and update customer information accurately.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a consistent and effective sales approach.
- Collaborate with other internal departments, such as marketing and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with the Sales Manager to implement sales promotions, campaigns, and initiatives to drive sales growth.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the consultancy sector.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target clients and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.
- Share market insights and recommendations with the Sales Manager and other stakeholders to inform business strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the consultancy sector.
- Strong understanding of consultancy services and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
