Hiring for Assistant Sales Manager - Saloon
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Sales Manager in driving sales and revenue growth for salon services and retail products. You will assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing client relationships, and coordinating sales activities. This role requires a strong understanding of the salon industry, excellent sales and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with salon staff and clients.
- Sales Support:
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase salon sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify sales opportunities, promote salon services and retail products, and attract new clients.
- Provide support in selling salon memberships, packages, and promotional offers to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and addressing their concerns.
- Schedule and conduct client consultations to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate salon services and products.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and salon staff to ensure a seamless client experience and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Sales Coordination:
- Coordinate sales activities, including appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and tracking sales performance.
- Monitor and report on sales targets, trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and salon staff to develop sales campaigns, promotions, and events to boost sales.
- Product Knowledge and Training:
- Develop a deep understanding of the salon services and retail products offered by the salon.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new beauty techniques, and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value of salon offerings to clients.
- Assist in training salon staff on sales techniques, product features, and service enhancements to improve their sales skills.
- Sales Administration:
- Assist with administrative tasks related to sales operations, such as maintaining client databases, managing inventory of retail products, and processing sales transactions.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and inventory management.
- Utilize salon management software or other sales tools to track leads, manage appointments, and monitor sales performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Some college education in business or a related field is preferred).
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the salon or beauty industry.
- Strong understanding of salon services, beauty products, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with salon staff and build relationships with clients.
