Hiring for Assistant Sales Manager - Trading Sector
Your role will be to support the Sales Manager in driving sales and revenue growth for trading products or services. You will assist in developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and coordinating sales activities. This position requires a strong understanding of the trading industry, excellent sales and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Support:
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the trading sector.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, prospect new clients, and identify sales opportunities.
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and contracts to effectively communicate product or service offerings and negotiate terms.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the trading industry.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to understand client needs, address concerns, and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other teams to ensure client satisfaction and timely resolution of any issues.
- Sales Coordination:
- Coordinate sales activities, including lead tracking, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations and finance, to ensure smooth execution of sales transactions.
- Product Knowledge and Training:
- Develop a deep understanding of the trading products or services offered by the company.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes relevant to the trading sector.
- Train and educate the sales team on product features, market dynamics, and competitive advantages to enhance their sales effectiveness.
- Sales Administration:
- Assist with administrative tasks related to sales operations, such as preparing sales reports, maintaining customer databases, and managing sales documentation.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts.
- Utilize CRM systems or other sales tools to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and monitor sales performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the trading sector.
- Strong understanding of the trading industry, including products, services, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
