Hiring for Sales Executive - Education Sector

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for educational products and services.

Responsibilities:

• To answer incoming telephone calls and direct calls to members of staff as appropriate.
• To accurately log initial enquiries relating to all courses and provide an initial response to customers as agreed.
• To update enquiries as required.
• To act as a first point of contact for customers as delegated by the Sales Director, managing relevant enquiries and positively promoting the image
of the company.
• To take a high level of Sales responsibility for new and existing enquiries.
• To take a high level of individual responsibility for contact with customers and working with a minimum of supervision.
• To be responsible for ensuring that all Skills Training Centre programmes are delivered to very high standards of customer service.
• To take financial responsibility for ensuring prices quoted are in accordance with company pricing policy or agreed with the Sales Director.
• To contribute to decisions about marketing and sales strategies for Skills
• Training Centre services to maximise income and maximise utilisation of all resources.
• Take responsibility for receiving and logging initial customer enquiries and providing an initial response for courses as agreed from time to time with
the Sales Director
• Take responsibility for providing a timely initial response to enquiries from clients as agreed from time to time with the Sales Director.
• Be responsible for allocated Sales enquiries and provide support/cover for enquiries for other sale team members as required.
• Ensure company Sales Procedures are followed at all times and make suggestions to the Sales Director in relation to any possible
improvements.
• To ensure that the CRM database provides accurate and up-to-date information at all times, to reflect Sales activities and Trainer Scheduling.
• Be responsible for following up initial responses and previous enquiries as appropriate to help ensure good customer service and maximise sales
potential.
• Provide guidance to customers where appropriate, in relation to the selection, design and suitability of training courses & qualification
schemes to meet their needs.
• Be responsible for providing detailed client-specific proposals & quotations for the provision of services.
• Develop and establish excellent working relationships with clients, considering their needs and promoting the full range of services available.
• Liaise with Trainers and other Sales staff to allocate the required trainer availability.
• Liaise with the Operations Team to ensure all relevant course details are handed over to the Operations Supervisor/Operations Manager/Post Course Manager to ensure all aspects of course delivery are provided exactly as you have agreed with the client.
• Liaise with Finance Team to ensure any invoicing queries are dealt with promptly
• Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies
• Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
• Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer’s needs
• Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase
• Advising product developers on improvements to include in forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
• Creating proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedure
• Inspecting inventory in stock and the quality of the product on display
• Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations
• Achieving monthly sales targets.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the education sector.
  3. In-depth knowledge of the education industry, including trends, challenges, and regulations.
  4. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  7. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  8. Ability to meet with clients, attend conferences, and industry events.
